You Like Cars is a digital platform optimised for desktop, tablet and mobile. Our service allows you to rate your favourite cars and gives non-commercial user uploaded cars the option to be sold for free.

Thatgood Limited (“we” “us” “our”) wishes to inform you that this page (together with the documents referred to on it) tells you the terms of use on which you may make use of our website at www.youlikecars.com and smartphone application (our services), whether as a guest or a registered user of our services. Please read these terms of use carefully before you start using our services. By using services, you indicate that you accept these terms of use and that you agree to abide by them. If you do not agree to these terms of use, please refrain from using our services.

We grant you a personal, non-transferable and non-exclusive right and license to access and use the services; provided that you do not (and do not allow any third party to) copy, modify, create a derivative work from, reverse engineer, reverse assemble or otherwise attempt to discover any source code, sell, assign, sublicense, grant a security interest in or otherwise transfer any right in the services and you have no right in our services other than the right to use them in accordance with these terms of use and any other document referred to within.

  • Any liability for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage incurred by any user in connection with our services or in connection with the use, inability to use, or results of the use of our services, any websites linked to our services and any materials posted on our services, including, without limitation any liability for:
  • loss of income or revenue;
  • loss of business;
  • loss of profits or contracts;
  • loss of anticipated savings;
  • loss of data;
  • loss of goodwill;
  • wasted management or office time; and

for any other loss or damage of any kind, however arising and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise, even if foreseeable, provided that this condition shall not prevent claims for loss of or damage to your tangible property or any other claims for direct financial loss that are not excluded by any of the categories set out above. Our total liability to you (whether in tort, contract or otherwise) for any direct financial loss that is not excluded by the above categories and which arises from your use of our services shall not exceed the sum of £10

This does not affect our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, nor our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation, nor any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

You agree to defend and indemnify us and our affiliates and any of their officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any claims, causes of action, demands, recoveries, losses, damages, fines penalties, or other costs or expenses of any kind or nature including but not limited to reasonable legal and accounting fees, brought by third parties as a result of:

  2. your violation of any law or the rights of a third party ; or
  3. your use of our services.

Information about you and your visits to our services

We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a distributed denial-of-service attack, viruses or other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, computer programs, data or other proprietary material due to your use of our services or to your downloading of any material posted on it, or on any website linked to it.

Jurisdiction and applicable law
The English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising from, or related to, a visit to or the use of our services.

These terms of use and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
